Aziz Ibrahim - ‘Middle Road’ was inspired by a SEX DRUGS ROCKnROLL TABOO lecture my dad gave me when I was younger, I suppose we’ve all had one and it just sticks in your mind.” Middle Road was released on No Label Records on 7 in, 12 in and CD back in 2000.
It was only released in limited numbers and is not easily available. Featuring English greats, Andy Rourke/Mike Joyce of The Smiths, Paul Weller - The Jam/Style Council, Steve White - Style Council/Paul Weller, Mani - The Stone Roses/Primal Scream, Denise Johnson RIP - Primal Scream, Talvin Singh & Inder Goldfinger - Fundamental/Ian Brown.
It was the precursor EP to the unreleased album 'Lahore To Longsight' featuring the same musicians.
