Hello and welcome to the July edition of the Wax and Beans Newsletter.
We may be a little later than normal (re-occuring theme!), but as they say, better late than never! (maybe) As always we've got a lots of news to share with you - what we've been up to, what's to come and a bunch of cracking new pre-orders too.

We know, we know, we're like a broken record, but, we have to warn you so you're not left disappointed:
- Pre-orders sell FAST and can be LIMITED - so don't hang around, Like a Bat out of Hell, they'll be gone before the morning comes ;)
- Release dates do have a tendency to slip from time to time. But if you're lost, you can look and you will find them (hopefully) on the product page on the website and if we've been a little disorganised (or more likely not been told), drop us a message/email/call or over on our social channels (@waxandbeans).

Fire in the Furnace was recorded in December in front of almost a one thousand strong crowd, and this album captures the incredible performance.
Merch, merch and more merch.
Some say we have lost the plot - gone WILD 🤪🤪🤪
Others are delighted that we are topping up our merch stock, slowly adding in all the bits that people have requested!
Earlier this month we headed up north to Press On to watch some records be made and wow, what a fun day! We've watched video after video of the process, but seeing it in person is, well, mesmerising.
Huge thanks to The Heavy North for inviting us to join them whilst we watched their latest release Fire In The Furnace be pressed.
On Tuesday 9th of July, we welcomed The Rifles to Wax and Beans for an EPIC night of music.
The shop was absolutely packed full of enthusiastic Rifles lovers, singing loud and hard to each of their tunes. Thank you to everyone who bought tickets and supported the band, we can't host these gigs without your support! And huge well done to The Rifles for achieving number 2 in the charts.

We are about to submit our order of the limited edition, numbered Luna T-shirts. We will be donating £2 from every sale to Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary. We have lots of colours and sizes - something for everyone, don't miss out 😁😁
We've something new on the horizon... sort of merch, but drinkable, the best kind right?!
We have our very own brew, not the coffee variety, but the hops version.
That's right, Beansies Brew, our very own Helles Lager, is due in store and online very soon... watch this space 🍻

We've upgraded to huge, crystal clear packshot pictures of the records. We've simplified the screen so the "buy" button is right next to the picture - no scrolling necessary. The record info is also automatically expanded. We've added badges, like "PRE ORDER" and "SIGNED" to help provide clearer information about the product. And we've added more sections - like our Thursday Night Videos and Staff Recommendations. It's always changing and being updated, so make sure you're one of the kool kids and have it bookmarked for easy access.

We recently registered on Tripadvisor after some of our customers suggested it and, well, we are starting from scratch so we need some help getting reviews on there please. We think people will use it to look for a record shop, but also for somewhere to eat and drink - so please leave your reviews for any of our services, it would be greatly appreciated.
As a thank you, we are going to pick one lucky reviewer, who leaves a review in July or August, to receive a £20 Beansies gift card.

Luna has had a great month.
She's seen a tonne of excellent music, had lots of extra long walks, some Wax and Beans doggie ice cream and plenty of relaxation thrown in.
She's currently out, out... sunnies and all.
